Welcome May! This month in youth church our theme is Divine Empowerment. When our definition of "empowerment" includes empowerment of spirit, it sets us on an experience of life that allows us to be whoever and whatever we choose to be. Empowerment goes hand in hand with the recognition of being at one with God/Universe/all that is .... and it can serve as our foundation to our awareness of our own limitless talents and potential. It is going to be an exciting and profound month in Youth church!
Meet our Amazing Volunteers
Each month we will be featuring a volunteer and highlighting their special gifts. When you see them around church, please be sure to thank them for their service and dedication to the Youth Program..
Julie Kimmel is another rock star member of our youth program volunteer family. She has been serving for a couple of years and is an invaluable part of the team.. Julie is calm and easygoing and very flexible. She has primarily helped out with the younger children but also with Junior High and most recently High School....to rave reviews. Her willingness to jump in where ever needed (most recently a market run for Easter eggs ...oops) makes her the true embodiment of a volunteer! Julie is generous and often goes above and beyond in addition to being loving, attentive and very approachable to kids of all ages. Thank you, Julie, for your dedication. We love you!
