We have gotten off to a great start as we have been celebrating the great philosophy of the Science of Mind in January with our theme “Back to the Basics”.
February’s theme is “Seeking the Common Good”. So after building ourselves up in January, we are now ready to celebrate the human family that we are a part of. We have such a strong and caring spiritual community it is natural for us to participate in “A world that works for everyone”.
I’m looking forward to some house cleaning both inside and out. We have been upgrading our building as our funds have allowed and have been repainting, replacing plumbing and working on upgrading the flooring both in the youth/office building and the sanctuary.
But most of all I am enjoying the smiling faces, hugs, and camaraderie we have here every Sunday. This community has really embraced the concept of welcoming all that come through our doors. From the Christmas parade, to the New year’s intention setting, to the game nights, to the ongoing congregant care programs, to the fun and enriching classes; this is a great place with lots of diversity and wisdom but also with lots of fun and joyful activities. There is no place I’d rather be.
Love and Blessings,
