Rev. Joshua Reeves
I first came to Seal Beach Church of Religious Science in the mid 1990’s as a teenager planning youth activities when Rev. Lee Hite was the minister. I received my Practitioner license at the age of eighteen when at the Huntington Beach Church of Religious Science where Rev. Dr. Peggy Price was senior minister. I entered ministerial school in 2003 and was given my first ever opportunity to give an entire Sunday sermon by Rev. Patricia King at Seal Beach. I received my Masters in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute and my ministerial license in 2006, started a ministry called “The Meaning Place,” and eventually became an assistant minister for Rev. Kevin Bucy in San Diego. In 2010 I was honored to be asked to be Co-Senior Minister with Rev. Dr. Peggy Price at Seal Beach Center for Spiritual Living. In 2011 I became the full time senior minister.
I am so grateful to be a member of the Seal Beach Center for Spiritual Living and honored to be the senior minister. I am committed to being of service here through Sunday services, performing ceremonies, offering spiritual support, teaching classes, and helping to ensure a rich and enduring future for our church and community.
